"Just a note to again thank you for your
effort and attention to completing the organ interface at Wesley church.
We are truly enjoying the capabilities of our new instrument. It really
is "new" now that the pipes and digital are playing together.
I am especially pleased and continually astonished how the digital sounds
blend so well with our pipes and how several of the digital sounds
replicate our pipes. The digital Oboe on the Swell, for instance, is an
almost perfect match for the pipe Oboe on the Choir.
It is exciting to have the variety of sound that the new console afford,
along with the MIDI Sequencer. We use those sound capabilities every
Sunday with our contemporary Praise Team. Also the addition of Reeds and
Mixtures really complement the ensemble sound of the combined instrument.
And, of course, the Festival Trumpet speaks for itself!
I am also happy with the tonal finishing abilities of the GC-8 control
module. It was interesting to work with and amazing to hear the
difference between before and after.
It is wonderful to see the new-found interest in the organ. people will
come up after services every week to ask about, see and hear the abilities
of our new organ. There are now students in the congregation that are
asking to take organ lessons, very important for future musicians in the
church! This installation has generated excitement in the music program
as well as the entire worship experience at Wesley.
Again, thank you for seeing us through this complex and exciting process!
