King of Kings Lutheran Church, Woodbury, MN, Rodgers Infinity 489 hybrid organ with six ranks of pipes
The pictures in the slide show below show the left and right sides of the pipe support system (without the pipes) of King of Kings' upcoming Rodgers hybrid organ project. The pipes and infrastructure are being supplied by the Fratelli-Ruffatti Pipe Organ Company of Padua, Italy. The pipe division has been fully assembled, tested, then disassembled, packed into shipping crates, trucked from Padua to a nearby seaport, loaded into an ocean container and shipped across the Atlantic, entering New York City port on approximately Aug 1. Once the ocontainer clears U.S. Customs, they are transferred to rail for the trip to King of Kings where Rodgers Classic Organs, Minneapolis team will begin the assembly. Following the installation, the pipes will be regulated and tuned by Chaz Dewsberry, followed by voicing by Dave Yoder to blend digital stops with the wind-blown pipes.
