RODGERS CLASSIC ORGANS HISTORY
Rodgers Classic Organs served North Dakota, South Dakota, and northwest Minnesota as the Rodgers factory authorized dealer from 1988 to 2019 under the ownership and leadership of Peggy Dahl-Bartunek. All of Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin were added in 2019 following the retirement of the Minneapolis Rodgers representative. In May of 2023 the dealer territory was reorganized to include the Minnesota territory, the northern two-thirds of Wisconsin, and Michigan’s U.P. Popplers Music was assigned North, Dakota, South Dakota, and western MN.

Peggy is the principal organist and choir accompanist at the Church of the Epiphany in Coon Rapids, MN. She hold a University of North Dakota B.S. in Music Education, is an experienced middle school, high school, and church choral director, adjudicator, presenter of workshops, accompanist, and recording artist. Peggy is a member of the American Guild of Organists (AGO) and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).

Val Bartlein holds a business and marketing degree from St. Norbert College in DePere, WI where he also studied vocal music performance and liturgical music. He he has consulted with over 300 churches since 2003. Val is an experienced organist, pianist, and choir director. His greatest strengths in guiding churches to successful installations is his understanding of audio needs and of the musical needs of the organists.

Jay Hunstiger, Sales Consultant
Minneapolis and surrounding area Jay Hunstiger, an accomplished organist, recording artist, and composer and arranger of liturgical music, has held positions in St. Cloud and several Minneapolis area Catholic parishes, most notably the Basilica of St. Mary - Minneapolis, St. John the Baptist - New Brighten, and currently St. William's - Fridley. He has extensive knowledge of organs, architecture, acoustics, and liturgical music.

We appreciate him so much! He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and served on the UWSP chemistry department staff until 2019. Gary farms, is an expert at repairs, and brings a lifetime of knowledge in construction and electronics to his service work.

Terry Osowski, friend - helping anywhere possible!
Terry Osowski, a full-time journeyman electrician, consults with Rodgers Classic Organs when his schedule allows. He has a background in pipe organ building and has led several Rodgers installations and repairs since 2020. His most recent involvement included the installation of a Rodgers Imagine organ at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eau Claire, WI pictured here. Terry's meticulous attention to detail is evident in every situation.
